Twinkle time face painting is provided by Emma Hutchings and associates. Emma has 10 years experience as a face painter and used to run the face painting section for the Acorn Theatre Company in North London. We are fully insured for both public and product liability.

Our aim is provide quality face painting for your party or event – children love to ‘dress up’ and play with their faces painted and a face painter is a welcome addition to any party. We will never force a child to have their face painted, even of they change their mind half-way through. Our emphasis is on their enjoyment and your peace of mind, there will always be a few children who do not wish to participate and we take this into account when you book your party.

We are available for children’s parties, fetes, corporate events, carnivals, regattas etc no job to big or small! But for larger events please give us enough notice to ensure there are enough painters available. Also, we are pleased to say that we offer discounts for charity bookings too, get in touch for more info.

We have a set of 12 standard faces which the children can choose from (tiger, pirate, dog, care bear, sunset, demon, ladybird, rabbit, butterfly, bat, rainbow, and clown) other faces can be done on request depending on what is asked for- see the faces in our gallery section. We try to avoid too much choice as this can be confusing for children and we are quicker at painting the standard ones as we do these on a regular basis. We can also do themed parties such as Christmas, Halloween, winter, summer, football etc

We provide all the paints, hair-ties, gowns to protect party clothes, table and waterproof cloth. We will also bring chairs if none are available or you do not wish to use your own. Please inform us if there is no access to water at the party venue as we will provide this too but it is not standard for us to bring water.
All you need to provide is the children!!

We use the Grimas range of products which are water based, professional quality face paints and they conform to EU and FDA standards. All you need to remove the paint is water and a little soap – what could be easier!

If your child has any allergies or sensitive skin please tell the painter as they may not be suitable for face painting. Also children who are unwell may not be painted.

Please make sure your child’s face is clean and free from food etc

We recommend a minimum age of 3 years for painting as children younger than this do not sit still for long enough. The average face takes 5 minutes including the base although some designs take shorter or longer amounts of time depending on the intricacy of the patterns involved.
